The January 2020 Rental Affordability Report shows that owning a median-priced, three-bedroom home is more affordable than renting a three-bedroom property in 53 percent of the U.S.
The least affordable markets for renting are Marin County; Santa Cruz County; Park County, CO; Honolulu County; and Kauai County, HI.
